The old /notifications page published 48 show-cause notices to the general public — each naming an employee, their grade and their depot, with a downloadable file. That was the address passengers reached looking for service information.

The reason is simple. An employee's name, grade and depot are personal data, and publishing them under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 requires a stated purpose and a lawful basis. A passenger checking a bus time has no need of it, and a disciplinary proceeding is an internal matter between the Corporation and the employee concerned.

Inside the Staff Corner these records stay available only for the period fixed by the Corporation's records-retention policy, and are removed from the portal once it lapses. The length of that period belongs in the policy KSRTC publishes; it is not guessed at here.
